WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

PRAY
The most important gift you can give missionaries is a daily prayer for their lives and work. These people have been called, commissioned, and sent to represent our devotion to Jesus Christ, and to urge others to accept His offer of salvation. GIVE
Financial support is also crucial for the ongoing work of bringing the Good News around the world. As a church, we support various missions efforts. Second offerings are collected throughout the year, which help support the Braunings in the Dominican Republic, the Palmers in Nigeria, the Wieners in Australia, and the New Heart Christian Reformed Church plant in South Florida. SHOEBOX GIFTS
Sunlight Community Church supports the Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child effort. Each November, Sunlight serves as a relay center for Operation Christmas Child, collecting shoebox gifts from our community as well as our own congregation. To serve as a relay center volunteer, please email Lauren Lynch, relay center coordinator.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. People of all ages can be involved in this simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ.
