Helping Hands
A ministry to serve those in need within the body of believers at Sunlight. Receive or give help with short-term needs such as meals, transportation, light housework, and other temporary assistance during difficult times.
For Children
G.L.O.W. (God Loves Our Worship)
Sunday School classes for children ages 3-10 meet during both Sunday morning services. The classes meet together first to "Praise & Shout" before going to their individual classrooms.
Nursery
Nursery care is provided for babies and toddlers during the worship services.
Mommy & Me
A ministry for kids and their special grown up (you don't have to be a mommy). Meets Wednesdays from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. for infants through 2 years and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. for kids ages 2-4.
Tikes in Training
Sports fun for kids ages 2-5. Meets Thursdays from 10:30-11:30 or 2:30-3:30 during the school year.
Blaze Boys Club
Boys in grades 1-8 meet Friday 6:30-8:00 p.m. on alternating Fridays during the school year (between SonKidz meetings).
GEMS Girls Club
Club for girls grades 1-8. GEMS meet every other Monday from 6:30 - 8:00 pm during the school year.
SonKidz
Fun for children ages 4-10. Stations include crafts, Bible journaling, snacks, games and music. Meets 6:30-8:00 pm every other Friday during the school year.
Sunlight Christian Academy

Preschool for children ages 3-5. (Summer camp for ages 4-10)
Vacation Bible School
A one-week event hosted every summer.
For Youth
EDGE Middle & High School Youth Group
Meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Special events are scheduled throughout the year.
For Women
Morning Joy
Women’s fellowship group that meets each Wednesday at 10 am. Nursery provided.
Secret Prayer Partners
Women pray anonymously for a partner for one year. Partners are revealed at a luncheon at the end of the year.
For Adults
Sunlight Discipleship Center
Four 8-week classes over a 2-year cycle (students may join at the beginning of any class) meet every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Classes are on Systematic Theology, Evangelism, How to Read the Bible, and Christian Living & Ethics and are taught by Pastor Scott Vander Ploeg.
Senior Fellowship / The Sunlighters
Scheduled events throughout the year.
Kingdom Builders

A ministry of Sunlight Community Church, Kingdom Builders mobilizes retired Christians to put to use their time, passions, skills, talents, and financial resources for the building of Christ’s kingdom.

Compassionate Care / Rays of Hope
Offers support for those in times of crisis from those who have suffered and have been comforted by the God of all comfort. Care group meets the first and third Thursday of each month at 2 pm. Contact: Pat Teske 336-7399
