There's so many reasons why I want to go on this life changing mission trip, for one I am so excited to help others that are in need! Not only helping these people with labor, but by bringing them closer to God by sharing his love. Fellowship is quite important to me, so I'm very grateful for this time that I will be able to fellowship with my youth group, and leaders. Of course who wouldn't be able to hide the excitement of going to a new place, and gaining life altering experiences? Ultimately, I just want to see God work through us and help others that are craving more knowledge about God, and to see the vast effects God can have on people who open themselves up to him. |

When I first heard about a possible mission trip opportunity, I felt a certain sense of anticipation or eagerness. My personal experience with mission trips is that they are a time when you focus your daily life, whether it be for a week or a month, wholly and entirely to serve God. During the past mission trips I’ve been on, I have learned so many life lessons and have discovered God in a different way than I would in my everyday life. You can serve God no matter where you are or what you are doing and reap great rewards from it, but a mission trip just clicks in a different way for me. Thus, I am extremely excited to go and serve on this upcoming mission trip. I cannot wait to see what God will do in and through me. Thank you for any support you can give. |

I am looking forward to this mission trip because serving others and spreading God's love brings about life changing experiences. I have been on mission trips before and every time I return with a stronger relationship with Christ and unquenchable joy. Going away to see other people's lifestyles and simply being able to serve them changes my heart every time, and I am so ready to get back on the mission field to serve and learn! |

I feel that God wants me to go on this mission trip to take me far out of my comfort "bubble." I'm excited to help others and have some fun too. It will be exciting to see how God uses me to bless other people’s lives.

Last summer, I went on my first mission’s trip to Bramwell, West Virginia and it completely altered the way that I viewed Jesus Christ. For the longest time, I assumed that He was something to be worshipped, adored, and respected-which He is. However, I never thought that someone so young, so vulnerable and so faulty like me could be used as a vessel to build His kingdom. Last summer's trip changed that mentality and now, my only desire is to "Go out and make disciples of all nations", displaying God's love and generosity. He wants me to go to Albany, Georgia and I know that somehow, someway, a heart will be touched and it will be provided for me to keep assisting in the construction of His kingdom. |

There are so many reason why i want to go on this missions trip. For one i'm excited to bring people closer to God. Not only am i excited to bring people closer to God, but i'm excited to be brought closer to Him. I feel like this trip will bring me so much closer to Him. Another reason why i want to go on this trip is to help people that are in need. This trip will bring me life changing experiences, not only to me, but the people we will be helping. Seeing God work through us and other people will just top everything off. |

The reason I want to go on this mission’s trip is that I want to show everybody I can that God is the answer to their troubles. God has completely changed my life around and got me out of the hard times I was going through so I want to repay him with bringing more people to worship him. I want to spread his word through missions and every way I possibly can. I feel like God brought me closer to him so I will spread his word and that is my goal. |

I want to go on the missions trip because i believe that i can make a long lasting difference in lives of people who do not know Christ and those who are unfortunate. I'm inspired to go out and help the community through Christ and the gospel :) I think this will be a good hands on experience and i feel i could grow closer to God in many ways. I'm not doing this for me , but i feel like this is where God wants me to be and go. I've seen mission trips change the lives of people around me, I want to serve others and most importantly my God. |

God says to make disciples of all nations and to go out and spread his word and his love through the gospel by preaching his name, if you follow these ways you feel called to leave out from your comfort zone and go to places to preach gods word, anyone can dig a hole but it takes a man to call it home, anyone can go to their neighbor and tell them about church and god but it takes a missionary to go out into the world and spread knowledge of gods omnipotent presence and his undying love. |

Hello! My name is Kendall Williams and I am 17 years old. I go to Lincoln Park Academy and I am a junior there and soon going to be a senior. I am in the IB program at my school which takes up most of my time because it is very rigorous. When I am not doing homework or some type of school activity I have swim practice almost every day. Swimming is definitely something I enjoy getting better at. Also, I babysit and find time for my friends and family throughout the rest of my week. My only time to truly get away from stress is at church and youth group. I have been going to Sunlight Community Church since I was 5yrs old and I have been going to youth ever since I was old enough. I don’t know where I would be without my church family. God has definitely blessed me by bringing me closer to Him as I have grown up.
I also did go on the mission trip last year and wasn’t fully prepared for what to expect because I had never done that sort of thing before. Throughout the trip I learned a lot about showing God’s grace to other through service and how much the little things can make a difference in someone’s life. The trip definitely encouraged me to help out more in the community and re-lit my fire for God again. This year I am so excited to go to Albany, Georgia. I hope to really make a difference in some people’s lives especially now that I know what I am capable of. Also I hope that this trip only strengthens my relationship with God making me more on fire to spread His love! I am ready for anything and I couldn’t be more excited to go.
